Today my week off began. I discovered the brilliant app for tilt shift photography which is super cool. I also got to go home and play with Ben the mad dog.
A guy and a girl clearly coming back from a party. She's dressed like fairy and he's wearing leggings, black block eyemakeup, a fur coat... and they're carrying a hula hoop. Normal Hoxton morning.
I finally blew up the pilates ball I got to sit on in the studio. It was hard work. Del decided that he should sit in Abbie's chair while she was out at lunch. She christened him Brian.
Gary and I went out to get lunch on Leather Lane, just in time for a biblical downpour. These are our stinky squelchy trainers and feet in the studio afterwards.
THREE points off winning the pub quiz as a studio team. Devastating but now we've got a taste for competition. This is our sacred highest-points-ever answer sheet.
Today we went to Richard's short film screening, some beautiful short films and music videos. Followed by far too much jollity in the sunshine for a Sunday afternoon.
In the pouring rain, we went to see Polly Morgan at Haunch of Venison and Sally mann at the Photographer's Gallery before a couple of drinks in Soho. Lovely.
I met Marianna in Stokey for a few drinks. I saw this lovely print in one of the shops. Afterwards we encountered a very sad old Irishman who had just lost his best friend. We spent the night convincing him not to throw himself in front of the bus and to go to the funeral. I hope he's ok.
After getting my hair chopped at my favourite hairdressers in Spitalfields, I walked home via Brick Lane and Columbia Road. This is some new street art on Hackney Road.
